NorthWest Montana Rodeo Team
The Northwest Montana Rodeo Team is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) youth athletic organization supporting student athletes in grades 5–12 who compete in the Montana High School Rodeo Association (MHSRA) and National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA).
Our team is made up of dedicated young athletes from across Northwest Montana who share a passion for the sport of rodeo and the western way of life. Members compete in events such as barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, breakaway roping, team roping, tie-down roping, chute-dogging, bull riding, and bronc riding.
The Northwest Montana Rodeo Team exists to support these athletes both in and out of the arena. Through mentorship, fundraising, and community support, we help provide opportunities for members to compete, grow their skills, and represent our region at rodeos across Montana and beyond.
Our program emphasizes:
Sportsmanship and respect
Responsibility and strong work ethic
Teamwork and community involvement
Preservation of western heritage and rodeo traditions
Rodeo is truly a family sport, and our program reflects that spirit. Parents and families play an active role in supporting the team through volunteering, fundraising, and helping host rodeos and events throughout the season.
Together, we are proud to support the next generation of rodeo athletes while building a strong community rooted in hard work, integrity, and western values.
